Take a 15-20 min. relaxing bath after a hard day’s work and pamper yourself with the intensive scents of lavenders. A bath with a mix of Sea salt and Lavender essential oil is a great way to regain your strength after physical and mental stress, and also has antibacterial properties. Salt is a natural disinfectant, inhibiting inflammations and eliminating bacteria, while lavender essential oil eliminates fatigue, improves mood and helps to focus. Baths are best before sleep.
Ingredients: Sea salt, Lavender essential oil.
Methods of use: For an aromatic bath dissolve 90 g (2-3 tablespoons) of salt in 100 l warm (36-38oC) water.
Pouring water on stones in electric saunas is inadvisable for safety purposes. Better pour 2-3 spoons of Black Sea salt and essential oil mix in a heat-resistant vitrified ceramic or fireclay bowl and place it near the hot stones: the essential oils should slowly evaporate instead of burning. Salt absorbs moist and scents, later unfolding them in the hot sauna. (Do not pour salt solution on hot stoves, because salt accelerates corrosion).
Sea salt is obtained by evaporating seawater. Sea salt is not processed, but only crushed and divided into fractions according to the size of the salt crystals: fine, coarse, especially coarse. Due to the minimal processing in sea salt, various trace elements remain, such as: magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron, potassium, etc. Due to the taste, texture and processing, sea salt is different from table salt.
An upgrade to your daily routine promotes relaxation and well-being.
Here are some reasons to start using sea salt baths: moisturize the skin, helps to relax when we experience stress or anxiety, soothes pain, helps the body to heal faster after injuries or operations, because salt has exceptional natural healing properties. Mixtures of sea salt enriched with essential oils can enhance the effect. This great combination synergistically relieves ailments and nourishes our body. Whether you’re looking for silky skin, or a better night’s sleep, or a little detoxification – bath salts enriched with essential oils can play such a beneficial role in our daily lives.
